Stainless Steel Jewelry

Do you own a stainless steel jewelry? Well, I own a few. They have of no value to thieves or pawnshops but they have a big value to me. Why? Because some of these jewelries were bought from places that I am not sure I would have the chance to visit again. So I value them as souvenirs but not as jewelries. This is also the reason why I don’t use them. I just store them away on my jewelry box!

Preparing for a Job Interview

A week from now I would be having a job interview. I could not quite remember when was the last time I had to dress up and look my best in order to get the job I want.

I have long been working at home. My online work has greatly helped support our family financially, but I am just trying my luck on this one. Who knows? I could always still work online during weekends or during my free time. I just feel the need for extra income for our growing family. When in need, sometimes you just have to just take the risk. It’s going to be a sales job and not one of those Respiratory Therapist Jobs, so I am quite confident I could do it. Well, let’s just see how this goes.

School Plays

It is quite challenging to look for costumes for school plays. As much as possible, I don’t want to spend so much on costumes because they could not be used again. It’s ridiculous that some schools really require their students to have their costumes sewn in specific shops! And to think there are so many activities/plays within a school year. I guess it’s one of the reasons why I like my kids to be enrolled in public schools. Sometimes there’s just to many unnecessary expenses in private schools. It’s ok to buy some inexpensive wigs if really necessary… anyway it’s not really cost that much and plus we could use it for family gatherings, just for fun.

Scrapbook Inspired

While I was looking for postcards at a local bookstore, I saw a lot of scrapbooking materials on sale. They also have books which contained ideas for scrapbooking layouts. Since it was on sale, I was really tempted on buying it and plans to make a project for my children but then, I didn’t. I really wanted to make one but in reality, I don’t have the time.

But since I was so inspired with the scrapbooking layouts I saw, I asked my friend who knows digital scrapbooking to make a blog layout using digiscrap materials for my other blog. She agreed and I can’t wait for her to show me the finish product!

Have you ever wondered why some buildings are constructed easily? Why some buildings before takes years to finish while buildings right now only takes months? Well, the answer is simple – technological advancements!

Before, you do the old way of constructing things, tying up cables to make beams, columns and walls. Now, you can create a metal building so easily! Why metal buildings? They are called this way because they are constructed in a way that metal reinforced slabs are just welded together. Since they are just welded and later reinforced with cement, buildings are finished in months!

Personalized Doormat

Have you ever thought of putting your family’s name on something? Yeah, like personalized items? If you have already tried and will be given a chance to do it again, would like to put your family’s name on doormat?

If you ask me, well, I would say YES! I mean it would really be nice especially our place has a lot of houses in one compound. Putting one is like putting a sign or notice that we live here. Right? Cool idea eh!

Quick Snacks for Kids

If you are looking for something quick and fun that your kids would like, there are several options to choose from. Most kids love doughnuts and they don’t really take time to make. Popcorn is also a good choice but these might be a bit tame or boring. Cookies are a nice touch though and not many kids can resist a well made cookie.

The internet is filled with a lot of easy to follow recipes you can try. A good cookie recipe would be brownie pops online which you can either make yourself or just buy since there are a lot of companies that sell them. An additional bonus is that they make great party favors so you can plan towards that when planning your kid’s birthday party.

Summer Camp for Kids

School is out and many parents are wondering what to do with their kids. Having kids in the house every single hour of the day can lead to frazzled nerves. A good idea is summer camp for kids. If you have any around where you live, you should think of enrolling your kids there.

They get to play many games and learn new things. One of the investments you might have to make though may be shoulder braces for football because it can be a really rough game. But it is a learning experience and the kids would love it. Whatever you do, try to get them to spend a lot of time outside and don’t forget your sunscreen.
