Shod Feet

December 23rd, 2011

Our feet have the most number of bones in our whole skeletal system. They are also the ones carrying our whole weight. (That is why if we are obese, we are putting a lot of strain on our feet for more than they should take.) Taking care of our feet should be one of the priorities when we don ourselves with the right outfit. Having comfortable shoes whenever we have to wear them is very important. Even riding boots, though for a short time worn, should be comfortable to be able to focus on the ride itself and not on your sore toes.

Kids and Grocery Trips

November 19th, 2011

It would be quite a challenge if you bring the kids for a trip to the groceries and you are on a tight budget. If you don’t learn to say “no”, you could end up buying things you really don’t need, especially that kids could be so persistent in getting what they want. And plus you’ll never really know what they would see in the pop displays!

So the next time you’d bring the kids along, be sure you have either of these two things:

1. A great determination to stick to your budget and an equally strong determination to say “no” to them, no matter how they beg or even cry.
2. Bring an extra budget to buy the things they want. Of course, still with a limit.

Better yet, don’t bring them along. Leave them with a responsible adult while you go on a quick shopping trip.

Ordering Flowers Online

November 9th, 2011

Despite the economic problems the world over, people still buy and give flowers to their loved ones because they are pretty and well appreciated—whatever the occasion is.

And the business of flowers is not only limited to local flower shops but also in the online industry with sites like proflowers.com. You can easily pay flowers from these websites, pay them securely, and have your flowers delivered to your special someone.

It is a great service—fast, efficient and safe. No wonder that many have found this to be a profitable endeavor. And the good thing is, you make people really feel good in this business. That is something that could not be bought by money.

Stainless Steel Jewelry

November 3rd, 2011

Do you own a stainless steel jewelry? Well, I own a few. They have of no value to thieves or pawnshops but they have a big value to me. Why? Because some of these jewelries were bought from places that I am not sure I would have the chance to visit again. So I value them as souvenirs but not as jewelries. This is also the reason why I don’t use them. I just store them away on my jewelry box!
